Two classics from two grandsons...

I wish we would have written down all the cute, funny, and really interesting things our children said as they were growing up. Two things were said recently by Ellis and Ian that I need to record.

Yesterday morning as I left for work I was saying goodbye to everyone. I said to Ellis, "Be a good boy." To which he responded, "Be a good man!" Very wise counsel from a three year old. I thought about that all day long.

We noted a Facebook posting by Tami the other day, quoting Ian. Apparently, he was having a "discussion" with his dad, who told him to be quiet. Ian responded that he couldn't because his "mouth was like a convenience store, always open." THAT is a classic and should be sent to the Reader's Digest.
